The Brief

Work with the whole of the rear of a Victorian terrace to create a chefs kitchen/family hub and WOW factor interior.

Our Solution

When the client is a chef with clear ideas who’s worked in some serious kitchens and she asks for a unique kitchen/dining space to live and WORK in, you know that the design development and specification has to be clever and to work well.

A great client, a builder who finishes well and interesting design dialogue have created a unique take on the proverbial wrap-around extension for this scheme.

We introduced lots of height, timber doors and frameless corners to demount the rear elevation for parties and extensive glass features to bring in the light.

The interior specification was high with a very glamorous kitchen as the focal point. As rear extensions to terraced homes go this is a very, very good example.
